Who has the bigger problem? Is it the raven or the balloon? The glass dome keeps the raven from the balloon. The same glass dome protecting the balloon from the raven is keeping the balloon from floating freely.
Symbolism broken down:
The Raven – represents a craving we desire.
The Balloon – is our fear of taking chances that we might be harmed.
The Glass – the invisible barrier keeping us from what we want.
