Learning the language of paint took many years and failed pieces (that were quite ugly and void of substance). I navigated this world, mostly alone, with very little guidance until my voice became confident.

Each painting I bring to life has been meticulously created, torn apart, and recreated many times inside my mind. Every choice from the color to placement and selection of each proxy have been made before the paint ever touches the canvas. 

The backgrounds are purposefully left out to concentrate the viewers attention on what is being said through the paint. No distractions from the conversation.
