Bio
Lisa Rosenmeier’s paintings fuse together realism with an illustrative look which reflect human
foibles and strengths via the animal form. Capturing the viewer with her dynamic color style, clean line work, strong composition and a dash of humor. She paints what inspires her from everyday life, giving some visual cues to navigate today’s modern complexities.
Rosenmeier is a self-taught artist who is naturally gifted with technical skills. She has exhibited work nationally in exhibitions in Lake City, SC, Scottsdale, AZ, New York, NY, Sarasota, FL, Saint George, UT and Savannah, GA. Her most recent group exhibitions include Artfields (Lake City, SC), Art at Savannah State University (Savannah, GA), Still Life at Camelback Gallery (Scottsdale, AZ) and shows at Location Gallery, Roots Up Gallery, Sulfur Studios and The Gallery at the Mansion in Savannah. Articles about Rosenmeier have been published in Telfair Museum Magazine, The Savannah Morning News, Paprika Southern, Savannah Do, Connect Savannah and Kolob Canyon Review. With guest appearances on WSAV - The Bridge, WTOC - Mid Morning Live and WRUU - 107.5 radio. Lisa works daily in her private studio.
